South Dakota || Moments

hello lovelies! 

I thought, instead of doing each day, I'd just do a post with all the moments we had and then another post with all the pictures. That way we won't be here for eeeeeeevvvverrrr! *laughs* 

So without further ado, let me share with you the moments I had on my vacation. (sadly, last minute Damara didn't go so she wasn't there... but despite that, I did have a lot of fun. *winks*)  

|| Riding with my bro and two brother's from other mothers xD

*laughs* But they are for real like so cool and we call them our honorary brothers. *laughs again* Shiloh and Gabrien are honestly the best. ;P They talked and joked and were just a bunch of fun to travel with. 

|| Seeing Brynna and her sisters the night we got there

I remember feeling a little nervous to go to Brynna's parent's house for supper, because I hadn't met them before but honestly it wasn't awkward at all! 
We hugged Brynna and talked; standing out in the freezing cold for waaaaay too long. *laughs* I ended up getting so cold my teeth were chattering. xD

|| Laughing at everything on Sunday night 

Lol, it's true! Me and Brynna could not stop laughing at everything! I don't know if it was nerves or what, but we were both in a crazy mood and everything and anything made us die with laughter. (honestly it was the greatest xD)

|| The picnic\rock climbing and laughing at Molly  

Oh! That was so much fun! Brynna took us to a park that was over an hour away for a picnic and walking for Daminika's birthday. It was soooo much fun! We laughed over seeing a "creature"(inside joke, lol), climbed up a cliff, and me and Daminika watched as everyone else went and climbed rocks. (they were a tad too high and even if I could get up there I wouldn't have been able to get down. 

Then on the way home Molly gave Emily some great advice for driving in SD and made me roll with laughter. *laughs* Yelling such things like, "when you see 15 cows you can turn. But if there's 16 don't turn!", "Oh, and count the fence posts, when you get to 55 it's okay to turn!", "Then the one stalk of corn with three ears of corn on it is when you turn"... or she yells, "Turn! Right here!" and Emily turns but it was just someone's driveway and Molly dies laughing saying, "I always wanted someone to do that." *cackles with laughter* That Molly is something else! *laughs* I love her. 

Oh! And I got whipped cream on my shoe and Maybel tells Molly to lick it off so she does and I take a picture. *laughs* We're weird, I know. xD

|| Getting pulled over (aka, Brynna getting pulled over) 

Lol, this is such a funny story. xD 

That morning, (I think) I was just telling Brynna how I had never been in a car when someone got pulled over before; and Brynna said she had never been pulled over before... Well, we all decided to pile in Brynna's car and go to Walmart for her mom. Aaaand.... she got pulled over. *hides face* The cop was really nice and friendly even though Brynna was kinda freaking out a bit(but she did so good! would never know she was dying inside). And then after we leave I'm like, "I mean, too bad you had to get a ticket, but man I was THIS *holds up my hand and makes an inch distance between my fingers* close to a real live cop!!!" Everyone died laughing and Brynna was like, "Ah! While he's giving me a ticket you're swooning over him!" 

*laughs remembering the moment* But it was so cool! He looked at me and I smiled! *laughs again* (it has always been my dream to see a real live cop and "talk" to him.. lol, all my "talking" was, was smiling but hey, it made my day.... Sorry you didn't think it was grand Brynna. *hides from your slap* *laughs*)

|| Getting piggy back rides through Walmart 

Lol, the first time I got piggy back rides through Walmart before... honestly it was a ton of fun. *laughs* I would jump on either Molly or Maybel's back all the time while we were there. xD

|| Bonfire and listening to Gabrien playing the guitar and banjo  

That was amazing. Gabrien made me so happy inside and his playing was b.e.a.u.t.i.f.u.l.

|| Coffee

We got coffee from some place, (I don't remember where) and it was actually pretty good, though I wished I had gotten mine hot or iced and not blended. *laughs*

|| The "haunted" woods 

We went to a park where they grew up calling it "the haunted woods" for some reason and it was actually really pretty and a lot of fun! We(me, Molly, and Maybel) chased geese off until they flew into the air honking. Then we all walked across a bridge that was really old and falling apart... that was fun. xD 

|| Eating candy 

Me, Molly and Maybel bought candy and ate it like kids. We decided to see who could make theirs the sharpest the fastest... Molly won. xD (Daminika said we acted like "such teenagers!" but, isn't that a good thing? *laughs*)

|| Walking around and taking pictures 

We went to the Terry Redlin Museum and it was closing in five minutes so we didn't get to see much. But it was still really cool! And then afterwards we walked the grounds and took pictures. *heart eyes* It was a beautiful day.

|| Saying goodbye and crying...

Was not expecting to cry like I did when we said goodbye. Those girls (Brynna, Molly, and Maybel) are some of the sweetest, goofiest, funnest, girls you could ever hang out with. I had such a lovely time with them and we cried and cried when we had to say goodbye. *sends them all my hugs* I miss you girls so much already! Your sweet hugs and smiles and laughs were the best. Now it's your turn to come visit me and to make memories in my state. *winks* 

|| Going home and talking with the bro and cousins 

Then, we went home! And the boys were a lot of fun again. *winks* Cracked jokes and made me smile. <3

I'm hoooooome!!!

Eeek! I'm home, and man does it feel good! *laughs* 

I had a ton of fun in SD and it was way harder to say goodbye than I was thinking. Brynna and her sisters, Molly and Maybel, were so much fun to be with and I had quite a few giggle fits. xD 

We talked, climbed rocks (though I stayed on solid ground that was nice and close to the earth xD), laughed over everything and anything, hugged, got piggyback rides through Walmart (and anywhere else that I decided to jump onto someone's back) xD, pictures, moments, ate candy, snuggled teddy bears, hugs and more hugs.
Had a picnic that was sooooo fun and the food was soooooo good. (even though I freaked Brynna out when I said I hated potato salad with onions in it. *laughs* She put onions but it was still good. xD)
Went to the "haunted" woods, and chased geese. xD 

Soooooo much more happened but I'll save that for later posts. *winks* With a ton of pictures. *winks again*
It's good to be home and I can't wait to share with you all, everything I did on my first vacation that was just that, a vacation. Not a wedding trip, or a funeral, just.... a vacation. (it felt good)

I'm Going To SD! || A g a i n

hello lovelies! 

As you read the title, I'm sure you figured out what's happening. *laughs* I'm going to South Dakota again! *laughs* 

I know, it's like I just got home from there. xD But hey, all my siblings (that live at home) were going back and I was going to stay behind, all alone and with just my parents. I just kept telling myself I'd be fine, I'd survive somehow. But then I heard Damara was going and then Brynna kept begging me to come. *laughs* So, I talked to people, figured out stuff, and bam! I'm going! *mind blown*

I wasn't planning on going (once again) but the doors started opening and I thought, "well, if this is what is meant, I might as well go along with it". 

So, on Friday I will be jumping into a car with my siblings and heading towards "the desert" to park the car, and climb in a truck with Shiloh and Gabrien! Then from there we hit the road once again and drive until we get there. (no stops... am I  gonna survive that??) 

I went and bought clothes etc, for SD yesterday with Felicity and I'm so happy with everything I got!! One pair or jeans (which I love), two adorable sweaters, a shirt to wear under my overall dress, a sweatshirt dress, a pair of leggings, and a couple other things that aren't clothes. *laughs*
I'll share a few pictures of the outfits I got...

Photo Dump || September

 hello lovelies! 

I feel like I drank a lot of coffee this month. But maybe that's just me? *laughs* 

Baked a lot with Kate. She loves to be "making!" with everyone. *hearts for years* She's literally the cutest little kitchen helper ever. 

Started getting our winter wood supply. (yes we're a little behind times but life has been a little upside down it feels)

I started school. Can't say that the first day wasn't hard. (it always is now that I'm alone) But I've been enjoying it. Looking forward to making meals from other countries and, I must say, looking forward to graduation. *hides face* *laughs* 

Went and picked prunes with the sisters one day. We got two five gallon buckets and man were they good! 

Painted a lot. 

Lived life. 

Went to town with Damara driving for the first time!! *jumps up and down* *squeals* It was a blast and we even tried on "wedding" rings just for the fun of it. xD 

Cleaned some for Sue; it was a lot of work and not, honestly, the funnest. xD (oh yeah, I know 'funnest' isn't a word but who cares, right?) 

Went to town with the sisters. We went to TacoBell for lunch so what more greatness can you ask for? *sticks tongue out* *laughs*   

Took Damara out for her birthday and treated her to lunch and a trip to the bookstore(#abookwormsparadise) It was a lot of fun and felt great to be acting like adults. (crazy that we're already 17 *still mind blown*) 

We finally got rain!!! I have been looooooving our rain and every time it rains the house is so cozy. *happy sigh* So lovely. <3 

Had family time on Sunday at Grandpa and Sue's. <3 

First day of Fall happened! And can I just say, I can't wait for Thanksgiving... and CHRISTMAS! AND! Felicity is due before Christmas so... yeah, I'm excited. xD 

Had Felicity give me light layers!! They're super light so you can't really tell in pictures. 

Made cookies with Kate. <3 

Had a bonfire as a family. <3 Kate was adorable, and let's just leave it at that. xD 

Had a sleepover with Damara! We made it so cozy and fall-ish without even trying, lol. It was a lot of fun. <3 

Had a grandkid night at Grandpa and Sue's!! That was fun. We played games, chatted, sang, and just hung out. <3 

Been making "houses" with Kate. *laughs* I showed her that making a house with chairs and putting blankets over them is fun so now that's allllll she wants to do. *laughs again*
