Photo Dump || March

 

hello lovelies!! 

Wow. March fleeew by. Or is that just me? *looks around* 

The beginning of this month I had Damara spend the night cause she was leaving for NH for a week and I needed to see her before she left lol. 

Me and my family (Felicity and Josiah included) all went for a trip to the dry side and visited Auntie A and her family! It was really relaxing and a wonderful trip. I'm so glad we got to go! I took a sauna every night that we were there and man... I looooove saunas. *heart eyes*

I went on a sticker craze and made a "billion" of homemade stickers lol. It was fun so I just kept on going. *laughs* And now I have a stash of stickers and it's great!

I took a sourdough starter from Auntie A and.. well my mom took over and she's becoming the sourdough boss. *laughs* 

I got a cute plant! Daminika's plant had a baby so I took it. His name is Gage, lol. 

One nice day (we've been having a lot of those) I went and dug up a bunch of rocks out of an overgrown flower bed and made a nice spot for under our hose. I'm still quite proud of myself, lol. 

I got a few coffees this month. *licks lips* That's due to gift cards, hehe. 

We went to the mall one day and then to a sit down in the big town and it felt aaaaamaaazzziing! *happy sigh* We hadn't been to that restaurant in way too long.  

I painted. *winks* And I was surprised at how it turned out, cause I kinda went out on a limb. *hides face* It was stressful. xD 

Had a sleepover at my Grandpa and Sue's house with my sisters and the aunts. The aunts were house-sitting while Grandpa and Sue were gone. It was sooooo fun! We played a lot of fun games and... we played hide-n-seek and I scared everyone sooooo bad. *dies laughing* It was hilarious. 

My mom got a guardian puppy! She's soooo cute. And such a good little girl. Kate absolutely adores her. *heart eyes* Her name is Cassie. 

One day I took Kate over to see "Damara's" puppies and she was sooooo excited. She had so much fun. It was fun to go for a ride just me and my girl. *hearts* (she wasn't sure what to think at first, lol)

LaKaysha got a first draft of her second book!! Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek! It's sooooo pretty! I'm like on love with it. *laughs* I can't wait until it's ready to be ordered. 

And guys. I........................................ BOUGHT A CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yep, that's right, little ol' me has gone and bought herself a car. Eeeeeep! I'm so excited. It's not 100% ready to be driven yet but I've cleaned it out and washed the outside and now I'm impatiently waiting to go for a drive. xD 
I'm hoping to, sometime here, do a little video tour of it so keep your eyes open for that. *winks*

And now, in just six short days Brynna comes to visit!! I'm sooooo excited! (except my brother is probably forcing me to crawl in a cave... dark plus tight spaces. *wide eyes* We'll see how this goes.)

Missing You

One night, I sat on my phone, texting with Damara, sharing how I was missing Grandma and talking about it all... and suddenly I just started typing and this is what I came up with.....

“Missing You”

I miss you, Grandma. Why did you have to go so soon? 

I long to have seen the way your eyes would light up when an animal would come to your side

To feel your hug, your love, your warmth 

I was only three, so young and so unaware; not knowing the pain that was to come 

I don’t remember much, just a few tight hugs and the sad smile across your face 

Almost as if you knew I didn’t truly grasp you were leaving me… forever 

I miss you, Grandma. Everyday. I look around me and wonder what you would have thought 

Wonder what you would think of me all grown up; would you be proud? 

Would you always hold me close even when I’m all grown? 

God had other plans for you, truly I can see... 

The pain that comes with missing you though is sometimes so overwhelming

I know you’re in a better land, and I thank God you’re safe 

But I miss you Grandma, each and every day. 

I wonder how your hugs would have felt, the gentle wisdom you could have shared with me

All the stories you could have told

But all I’m left with is a picture and a foggy memory of you smiling 

I sometimes cry to myself, not being able to picture your face in my mind, knowing it’s slipping away 

And it hurts; hurts to watch my memory fade…

I know you’re happy, smiling and peaceful; ridden of this dark cruel world 

But I miss you, Grandma. I will forever miss you

Oh, until I can see you again, face to face in that Promise Land with Jesus holding us tight

Celtic Thunder Songs || TOP TEN

 hello lovelies! 

 I figured it would be fun to come on here and list my top ten favorite Celtic Thunder songs! Even if you folks don't care much for it, I want to be able to come back and read this post and make myself smile. *winks* ;P 

If you don't even know who Celtic Thunder are, you MUST listen to these songs. *heart eyes* I still remember the day we discovered them on Facebook when my uncle posted "A Place In The Choir". *heart eyes again* 

Through the years some of the singers have changed, and back when we were bias we hated any new singers, but we all grew up and learned to apricate the new singers. (even though the first are still the best we do like the new ones too, lol)

*melts* Aren't they just amazing? Their voices all go together so well and it's just out in out beautiful! And Damian has a beautiful deep voice. Here's a cover I listen to all the time of Damian and his wife singing. *heart eyes* I just love the way they did it.
