Nancy Rose 

Born September 2nd, 2023 • 8lb 4oz • 20in 

It was a long hard labor but she safely came into this world with big eyes and a good loud cry. Mama and Daddy were both in tears as we held her up and seen what she was… a girl! 

After 31 hours of labor (not all of it was active labor) and no sleep, our little bundle was welcomed into this world. We didn’t know what we were having so when my midwife held her up and said “what did you have?” and me and Byron spread open her legs I burst into tears and laughed and said “it’s a girl!” And I held her close to my chest crying and repeating, “it’s a girl! Oh our Nancy Rose is here!” 

I had her at home and it was a day I’ll never forget. <3 Hubby got to watch the whole thing and cut the cord! 

Her name is extra special to us.. <3 Nancy is after Byron’s mom who sadly passed away in a car accident when my hubby was three years old, and after my Grandma who passed from cancer when I was three. (Crazy that my grandma and his mom have the same name!) and Rose after my sweet little cousin Abigail Rose <3  

We are all doing good and getting enough sleep <3 The Lord has blessed us and we are beyond happy.
