Alright folks, my little bundle of Lottie Joy, is now one. She has grown so much in the last year. She's turning into a dog, and what a beautiful dog at that. I can't believe it's been almost a year since I got her, I got her February 4th, and she was born on December 1st. She was so tiny, so wiggly, cuddly, and I love her so much! She would sleep for hours on my lap while I watched "Rawhide" *sighs*
I started training her right away, sure it wasn't full of fun all the time, she could get on my nerves but that's what puppies do. Right off the bat she wanted to please me, she loved to sit and look at you with her big pooling puppy eyes. She still loves to do that. If it wasn't for Gary and his kindness I wouldn't have my bundle of Lottie Joy, and I wouldn't be doing this post.
It still surprises me when I realize, I was
given Lottie,
given! She was
given to me! I had prayed that maybe I would open the door and there would be a puppy with a note saying, "keep her" But I knew that would never happen, but maybe I would be given a puppy, nah, that would be crazy. Well, the Lord can do what He sees fit, and He thought I needed a puppy. And I believe with all my heart that He sent her to me so I wouldn't be lonely when my
Sister moved away. The Lord is good, and I thank Him everyday for giving me my wonderful, lovable, Lottie Joy. She's the sweetest thing ever. And I am SO thankful for her, she's my best friend, and I love her with all my heart.
She sure has grown. *sighs* She was once so tiny I could hold her.
But now, now she's so big she can hug me when she stands on her hind legs.
I hope you enjoyed this little post about a little bit of joy in my life.
Remember, God will answer your prayers, He will help you in hard times, He never leaves you or forsakes you. God is always there in times of need and comfort.
