I'm Home!! || My Weekend

 

hello lovelies!! 

I'm back from my little vacation for the weekend!! Did you miss me? 

It was a lot of fun, and really relaxing. <3 Me and Damara got to have our own room with a queen bed. *sunglasses* 

The house was built in the 1980s so it definitely had that feel. It had like six different levels; lots of stairs and things to walk up and down. *laughs* 

There was a huge outdoor\inground heated swimming pool, and hot tub. I had never really swam before in water over my head, and guys. I did it! *laughs* It wasn't as hard as I had imagined it to be and before long I was diving, jumping, and doing front flips off the diving board. *sunglasses* Oh, yeah. I'm a boss. xD 

Thursday morning I was up and ready to go by 7:45 a.m. We weren't supposed to leave until nine but, I was early to getting ready I guess. I waited until eight and then decided to just head over to Carson and Mindy's. I drove the girls' car and parked it at their house for the weekend.
The day was spent driving. It was a seven hour drive to where me and my ride were going. I rode with Emily, Abby, and Damara. Sweet Abby treated us all to coffee and man was it good. *licks lips*
The house was actually only six hours away but we went an extra hour to drop a dog off at our Aunt and Uncle's (M&M). Then we picked up our cousins and met some more cousins at a restaurant. I got... a chicken salad. *sticks tongue out* *laughs* By now I think the whole world knows what I eat at places. xD
I had to be an adult and ask about peanut oil. *wide eyes* My dad always did that for me, and in my little dream brain, I thought he always would until I got a boyfriend to do it. Well, nope. I had to do it. So, with a nervous belly I asked the lady about it, hoping I didn't sound too weird and out of place. *laughs* It actually was a piece of cake but I was just a chicken. xD 
Kylie gave me a high five and Abby told me I did great and was very "composed". xD
We didn't get to the house until around nine and by then we were sooooo tired. But, me and Damara quickly toured the house, and then changed into our swimsuits and were soon sitting in the most relaxing, and clean, hot tub. Ahhh, it felt so good. <3
After that we weren't feeling as tired anymore so we watched an episode of "Emergency!" before actually going to bed. 

Friday we woke up with the bright sun shinning through our blinds and into our room. Me and Damara both rolled over and looked at each other and I asked her what time it was so she got up to check her phone. We both figured it was 8:00 a.m. by the look of the sun, but no. It was 5:50 a.m. *laughs* We just laughed about it and got up. What else was there to do? 
So we made breakfast, ate, and by 7:30 a.m. we were in the pool. *laughs* We didn't get out until a little after nine. 
After that, we went for a walk along the river with Abby, Emily, and Auntie and her little kids. It was really pretty and we seen lots of birds. 
We made lunch; homemade pizza and it was really good!
Then, back into the pool we went. *laughs* We never swam anymore after that because our bodies were so physically exhausted from using muscles we hadn't used in a long time. xD My body ached soooooo bad. *laughs* But it was worth it. 
All the guys were gone hunting most of the trip so it was just us ladies and the littles "home". So, we all decided to play sardines. *laughs* It was actually quite a bit of fun. xD
I don't think we really did anything else that day. Just relaxed and lazed around, sitting on the porch swing. 

Saturday we woke up around... 7:30-ish?? I don't remember. But we got up, got dressed and did our hair and makeup. We were going to Mikey and Missy's for our cousins birthday and supper, so me and Damara thought maybe we'd just get ready to go, and when we got home we'd swim and then shower. Well that plan didn't work out but we didn't mind. xD Our bodies were still dead from the day before. 
So we lazed around the house, eating, playing Qwixx. We ate a lunch of subs, which were surprisingly good. *laughs* I don't normally like sandwiches.
Then at some point we decided to take a walk... Well, I didn't bring the write kind of shoes for walking in and... well I kind of killed my feet walking those three miles. *pained look* They hurt sooooo bad! It felt like I bruised them. So half the time I walked barefoot and the other time I tried to tough it out. 
Then it was time to head to M&M's so me, Damara, Caleb and Abby climbed into the truck with Emily and away we went for the hour drive. 
Me and Damara were so exhausted from swimming and getting to bed late and getting up early that we couldn't keep our eyes open the entire drive. Damara slept and had dreams; I just dozed. xD  
The food was good and later the dessert was even better. *laughs* There was dairy free ice cream and ice cream cones! So guys, after like.... probably 3-4 years without an ice cream cone, I finally got to have one!! It was like a dream come true. *laughs*
We stayed there until nine and then realized just how long of a drive we had so we quickly ran out the door. 
We got "home" at 10:00 p.m. and we weren't allowed to go swimming but we could go in the hot tub. So we did. And it felt really good. 
Then we showered, ate snacks, and finished off the night with some "Emergency!" and "Adam-12". Yeah... we didn't get to bed until midnight. xD 

Sunday morning we got up, went down into the kitchen, ate breakfast and then started packing up and getting ready for church. 
I had put my hair in a scarf the night before so I didn't need to do much to my hair. Thank goodness. xD We double checked and made sure we didn't leave anything in the room, loaded everything in the van and then realized we would be riding with the boys. So out came my luggage and into the truck it went. 
We left for church, went to church, visited a little with people, changed for the drive, jumped in the truck with the boys and headed out! 
We stopped and ate lunch at some place called, Zip's and ate in the truck, and then headed home. We only really stopped one time to use the bathroom so it didn't take too long to get to Carson and Mindy's.
I jumped out of the truck, grabbed my stuff, threw it into the car and backed up the rig and waited for Chancy.  (i figured I'd let him leave first that way he wouldn't be "stuck" behind me) 
I drove home, alone in the car listening to Celtic Thunder and then I was home. <3 

I had a great time and it was loads of fun. But like always, it's great to be home again. *grins*
