Explanation || Quick Vacation

 hello lovelies! 

Where to begin? First off, sorry for suddenly dropping off the face of the earth. *laughs* Me and my parents very last minute packed up and hopped into the escape at four in the morning, to hit the road for South Dakota! 

I should probably explain, huh?

My cousin Cody was getting married in SD and I had kind of wanted to go. But then again, kinda didn't. Why was I feeling this way? Because of Abi's death. I just didn't feel like doing anything. Didn't really feel like dipping into savings and going on a trip that I wasn't truly wanting to go on. Plus my parents couldn't really afford to go and the wedding was to fall on the day after my birthday. So if I did go, I'd be spending it in SD. And I didn't feel like spending my birthday without my parents.
My siblings (the ones at home) were going, my grandparents were going, Damara and her family were going, and my aunts Marissa and Marita were road tripping. So a lot of family would be gone.
I put into my mind that I was going to spend my birthday at home with my parents and with Felicity & Josiah, and Kate. 

But plans changed. On Sunday, two days before everyone was about to leave, someone took my parents aside and asked if they'd like to go to their nephew's wedding. And just like that, someone helped pay our way to SD. And before I knew it, by Sunday night, we had decided we were going and I had two days to get ready. (Monday and Tuesday) So, rather quickly I gathered up all the clothes I could think of, packed two small suitcases full, and then on Wednesday at four in the morning I was half asleep driving down the road. 

Since my aunt and uncle didn't know we were coming we decided to keep it a secret from them and just surprise them. (I'm glad we did *winks*) 
But then my siblings got there before us and uncle M flat out asked Daminika if we(me and my parents) were coming. She lied and said no but later felt guilty so we told her it was fine if she told him. *laughs* Plus, that way he could keep auntie M from leaving the house too early the morning we wanted to surprise them and that would give us time to get there. 

So that my friends is why I suddenly disappeared. Stay tuned for posts about my trip!!

My beautiful sister LaKaysha has published her book and you can now pre-order it!!!

I am literally so excited it's crazy. It's not even my own book! *laughs* But I think she wrote it so beautifully and it's just such an amazing story. She has definitely got a gift for writing. <3 Her book grabs your attention right from the start. Keeps you wanting to read more. 

I was the very first one to ever read her book, after she wrote each chapter, and I immediately fell in love. It's like the characters become apart of your family and you hurt when they hurt, laugh when they laugh.

I'm not one to cry in books but... this thing had me in tears part of the time. But in a beautiful way! Maybe it's just me, but when I read the book it felt like they were a part of my family. *shrugs* She has based a few of the characters on some family\extended family members; but having them their own person at the same time. 

Her book has so much to it. Encouragement, love, hope, faith... everything. 

It's just.... b e a u t i f u l  

I can't quite describe it any other way. You'll have to read it for yourself and then maybe you'll understand what I'm trying to say. Or maybe you'll have a different experience with it.
All I know is it really is a must read and I truly hope you go and purchase it and take the time to read it. I loved it. And I'm not one that reads a lot. But here I am, sitting on pins and needles, waiting for her to finish the next one. *laughs*

Lottie Had Her Puppies!!

 *excited squeals* 

My littler girl had her puppies yesterday evening\last night! 

I must say I was a ball of nerves watching her in labor. It was quite stressful and I got pretty worried. Just because she's my little puppy and I could see she was in pain. 

But! The delivery went good. A little confusion from Lottie, unsure of what was really going on. *laughs* Never being a mother before, she wasn't sure what kept popping out of her. *laughs again* But, she finally went and laid down and started delivering them nicely. (instead of walking around and being confused) 

I woke up wide awake at six thirty this morning and rushed out to check on my baby. There, in her cozy little house, were eight beautiful little butterballs. 
She had one still born so that made a total of nine pups. But so far everything is going along nicely and Lottie is being a good mama. <3 

I'm so proud of my little girl. (sure, call me a crazy dog lady if you want) And she's just the sweetest little thing out there. *all the hearts*

Birthday Party

*cake and all the party stuff thrown at you* 

Like I mentioned before, my birthday was the other day and now I'm doing a post about the party my family threw for me!!

The party was awesome. My sisters did an amazing job with decorating. (though I did help a little xP) And family came to help celebrate.
It was a pretty large crowd and I had four of my friends there so it was altogether a wonderful day. <3
I had quite a few gifts to open and a few cards so that made me happy. *winks* *laughs*

I even ended up crying when I read the card from Chancy. *blushes* In front of everyone. *hides* But it was so sweet and sentimental that it was hard not to cry. (I even got my mom and Sue crying xD) But I think everyone understood and I didn't make a complete fool of myself. xD

All he said that got the tears to flow, is; "To my playmate of days past..." *sniffs* Isn't he just the cutest? *all the hearts* (yes I'm a bit, what's the word I'm looking for, sentimental? *shrugs* I cry easily. xD) And that my friends is who said, "my playmate of days past" *winks*

The party was at three and it was the hottest part of the day. But we all survived and it wasn't too terrible. *laughs* Most people ended up staying for supper and didn't leave until later which I like. When we have people over I love when they stay late. xD

Happy Birthday, Sweet Sixteen

*hello lovelies!*


The other day was my sweet sixteenth birthday!! *does a happy dance* So now I am officially sixteen. *mind blown*

My day was amazing. I woke up to, what usually happens on my birthday, my mom singing happy birthday to me and then telling me breakfast was ready. My breakfast was delicious!
Felicity came over with Kate in the morning and brought me a blended blue raspberry Italian soda from Arrowhead. It was sooooo good! Thanks sista!
I then dressed into my new clothes I ordered and Felicity took me outside and took my birthday pictures. (I'll share them at the bottom of this post *winks*)
Then I convinced Daminika to drive me to the big town and got to BV to get a bliss shake. (dairy free) So we did that and my shake was delicious!! I mean, when it's your birthday it's okay to have two special drinks in one day, am I right?
Then I just hung out with my mom, Kate, and sisters until the men got home. 
After we ate a delicious supper of pasty, we played one of my favorite board games. "Loaded Questions"
Then, to finish off the night we watched an episode of one of my (many) favorite shows. "Numb3rs"

It was overall an awesome day and I still can't believe I'm actually sixteen. *laughs*

And, last Sunday we had a fairly big birthday party for me too. I'll do a post about it a little later.
