Life Update || Photo Dump

 hello lovelies

I can’t believe I am a mama. Like… *mind blown* what? As I look back and reflect on all that God has done for me in the past year I am blown away.

Who knew so much could happen in a year?

On Sunday it’ll be exactly one year since my hubby looked at me and said “so uh, I asked your dad if we could date.. would you want to do that?” To which I replied with a large grin on my face, “Yeah”. And as I think back on that day I would’ve never thought I’d be wear I am today… sitting in a recliner, feet up after cleaning my home, and rubbing a growing belly. I was praying and wishing we’d be married but I guess it’s still mind blowing when you see God answer your prayers so clearly. God is so good and I’m just blown away. So much can happen in a year, do you realize that? God can do SO much in one’s life in just a short time. I was going to graduate and start trying to find a job or something, or so I thought a year ago, but then God came and said “Look little one, I have much bigger plans in store.” And that’s when my eyes fell on Byron and I knew, I knew God had other plans for me. Just wasn’t quite sure what they were.

So, I listened to the voice in my heart and I prayed. Oh how I prayed. I asked God to guide me and show me what He wanted cause I was feeling all sorts of emotions and had no clue what was going on. Finally I said “God, you know what’s best for me, and for Byron. Guide me, guide him, and do Your will. If anything is to happen let it happen, but without my interfering.” And that’s where I left it. Then I went to the yearly campout our church has and that is where Byron came and talked to me and… well, you could say as one does, “the rest is history”.

So we talked, he came over every night after the campout, my dad took him to breakfast and asked his intentions, and the next day Byron asked me to be his girlfriend.

Before you know it, we’re madly in love and growing closer to one another and I was waiting on the day he’d ask me to be his. <3

September 22nd rolled around and before I knew what was happening I turned to look my boyfriend in the eyes while sitting on a fence and his eyes were shining bright with a grin on his face, he was holding the prettiest diamond ring I had ever saw. I grinned and looked from ring to those green eyes and listened, heart pounding as I heard, “Liberty Ann… will you marry me?” I felt like I was in a dream. Before I knew it, I kissed him and nodded saying “yes!” and he was slipping the ring on my fingers while a cow chewed its cud in the background.

December 2nd finally came and we were wed, looking into each other’s eyes saying “I do” and sealing it with a kiss. We left the wedding and went to Arizona for our honeymoon where we had a grand time and even got to go horseback riding in the valley of Superstition Mountain!

Came home, life went on and soon we found out we were blessed with a baby on the way. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I seen those two pink lines and I brought the test to Byron with trembling hands and said… “Look. Do you see what I see?”

Fast forward and here we are today, settled into an adorable apartment with a nursery! I am so so thankful for all that God has done in our lives and completely blown away with how much has happened in just a year.

So dear reader, if you are feeling down, weary, sad, as though your dreams may never come true, look up because guess what? God DOES care and He WILL grant you those things He wills. God is making your story right now and He has something beautiful in store. Wait on Him and you’ll see the good. <3

Now enjoy a quick photo dump of my life lately! *winks* (oh and they are not in order so yeah)
